All versions share identical gameplay content. The PC version is a digital Steam key delivered to your email after purchase. WWE 2K26 is a current-gen exclusive — no PS4 or Xbox One version exists.
CM Punk is the Standard Edition cover star, marking his first appearance on a WWE game cover since WWE '13 in 2012. The 2K Showcase mode — "Punked: CM Punk's Personal Journey" — narrated by Punk himself, takes players through his greatest rivalries and iconic matches, with Fantasy Warfare scenarios that reimagine what could have happened if The Voice of the Voiceless never left.
The roster has been expanded to feature over 400 playable characters — the largest in franchise history. For the first time, superstars from WWE's sister promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide will be included as part of the new Ringside Pass mechanic. Rhea Ripley is the highest-rated current superstar. Stone Cold Steve Austin and John Cena both top the all-time ratings at 97. New additions include Rey Fénix, Rusev, Blake Monroe, and NXT stars Myles Borne, Tavion Heights, and Wren Sinclair.
New match types answer years of fan requests: the I Quit match, the Inferno Match, the Dumpster match (franchise debut), and 3 Stages of Hell. Intergender matches, expanded to all core game modes. Environmental interactivity gains stackable tables, shopping carts, and thumbtacks.
The Island returns with new multiplayer matches, a new Scrapyard Brawl arena, Tower Mode, and upgraded progression. MyRISE, MyGM (now with WWE Draft), and MyFACTION updated with new Creation Suite tools — 200 CAS save slots, deeper morphing tools, 2-tone hair colour blending, and new Promo Types
