What a resounding success it has been for the United Arab Emirates. The residents of the UAE are celebrating the 51st National Day starting on Commemoration Day on the 1st of December through National Day on the 2nd of December and will continue till the 4th of December 2022.

This day marks the official formation of the nation and the federal unification of the Emirates 3 years after the British left the colonies of the Eastern Mediterranean in 1968. Six Emirates united to form the UAE in 1971 and later became seven after Ras Al Khaiman joined in 1972. The union happened under the leadership of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan known as the Father of the Nation.

This day is celebrated with lots of festivities like lighting schemes and decoration of houses and offices, car rallies, military parades, camel riding in Al Dhaid city, spectacular air show at Abu Dhabi Corniche, fireworks at Al Seef and many more.
