The key mechanic of these promos is the panoramic artwork: each region's three promo cards are designed as a single connected panoramic scene — Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle individually depict their Kanto identity (Gym Badges, the original Pokédex), and placed side by side, the three cards complete one continuous Kanto landscape. The Sinnoh trio frames each starter against the Pokétch, and the Alola trio is rendered with Z-Crystals in the scene. Collecting the full region panorama requires all three cards from that region — which means purchasing multiple collections or trading duplicates with other collectors.
