Description Description
  • The Fujinon 56 mm AP lens offers sharp, detailed images.
  • The Fujinon XF56mmF1.2 R APD is a go-to option for capturing beautiful bokeh effect pictures.
  • It has a focal length of 56 mm which is equivalent to 85 mm for a convenient shooting distance from the subject in 35 mm film format.
  • The lens has 11 glass components in 8 classes including two elements of the extra-low dispersion lens and an element of the aspheric glass molded lens.
  • The Fujinon 56 mm APD is available in black finish and features a high-quality metal exterior with a premium look and feel.

High build quality and comfortable operation:
At wider apertures the apodization filter provides the best performance. To allow the use of large apertures even in bright environments, an ND filter is included to change brightness in three stages. The lens features an aperture ring showing the effective F No. in red to indicate the apodizing effect.
The focus and aperture rings are both metal, plus metal is often used for a high-quality finish on the outside of the lens frame. The friction and torque on the rings make shooting easy, even for delicate manual focus.

Autofocusing a lens with a filter for apodisation:
An apodization filter was used in the past only on a manual focus lens, this is the first to use high precision contrast AF. Combined with an X Series camera frame, the near-silent shutter sound makes for more realistic shots of subjects.
