The three wavelengths address three distinct skin concerns in a single session. The four-minute Red light segment (633nm) targets the skin's surface — the wavelength associated in peer-reviewed research with visibly reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots, and stimulating collagen-producing fibroblasts in the dermis. The four-minute Red and Infrared combined segment (633nm + 830nm) works at greater depth — infrared at 830nm penetrates to the cellular level, where research supports its role in boosting the skin's natural collagen production and firming the deeper skin structure that determines overall facial contour and lift.
