Size 4 is the official FIFA-approved size for players aged 8 to 12 — the size used in youth academy training sessions, organised junior league matches, and youth school competitions. It is the correct size for the 8–12 age group and produces the appropriate weight and circumference for developing foot-to-ball skills, passing accuracy, and shooting technique in younger players. For adults and recreational players, size 4 provides a slightly tighter feel that some trainers prefer for technical practice and close control drills.

The 32-panel construction with a glossy soft-touch TPU outer surface delivers the aerodynamic consistency and surface contact that make the Dali perform predictably in the air and on the ground. The 0.2mm TPU is bonded to 1.8mm EVA foam backing — the EVA layer provides the cushioning that makes the ball comfortable to strike with bare feet or light training boots, while the TPU outer provides the weather resistance and abrasion resistance that allows the Dali to be used on all standard playing surfaces without accelerated wear. The 5-ply hand-stitching technique — using 5 thread passes per stitch — produces the tight, strong seams that prevent panel separation under repeated striking, heading, and general use.

The 4-ply poly-cotton lining system (65% polyester / 35% cotton) provides the structural rigidity that maintains the ball's round shape across training sessions and different inflation states, while absorbing the stress of impact to protect the bladder. The Taiwanese butyl bladder with butyl valve and air retention system provides long-term pressure stability — butyl retains air significantly better than latex, meaning the ball holds its inflation for days between training sessions rather than requiring re-inflation before every use.
