This is a half-length portrait of a young, black-haired woman, seated in an armchair, with a black fur coat and a multi-coloured jacket on her shoulders and with her wrists in the pockets of the clothing. The author has perfectly depicted her reserved state of mind, plunged in thoughts, with her lips tightly pursed and hair neatly put up. The whole colour picture is very sonorous, radiant, fresh, colourful and nuanceful. The coating cover is single-layer, strong and dense. The colouring is black, yellow-green with ochres. The surface has a harmonious weak shine.
