Title – “An Old Church” 

This is a pleinair sketch, done in a breath. A domed church is depicted with a leafy tree in the foreground. In the background there are rocky mountains soaring upwards, at the bottom of which is the sunlit hillside. The spatial integrity of the atmosphere is clearly depicted. In the far is the clear firmament. The picture is painted with bright and harmonious colours. The colouring is blue-violet with yellow- green tints. The coating cover is single-layer, thin and expressive. The picture has a dead surface.
